Puzzling that the second (000002) 'test' snapshot didn't seem to actually delete when it said it was removed. So far the general consensus appears to be that this should generally not be happening.

It shows 500GB provisioned, 121.85GB Uncommitted, 515.17 Not Shared and Used.ĮDIT2: So I believe the machine logs are interesting enough that they are finding their way in to a VMWare analyst for a look (going through a third party). iso, and every other VM on the machine to get down to 70% used, and it still won't consolidate the mail server disk. The Datastore reports 744.5GB total space. I am very new to ESXi, and very stuck, and a bit scared at this point. I have a mail server I migrated to a virtual machine and I guess I have been using snapshots and deleting them but not 'Consolidating' disks. I am a complete noob at VMWare, and seem to have backed myself into a corner I have no idea how to get out of.
